The Journal of Medical Device Regulation welcomes Teresa Perry from LNE-GMED UK as its new Editorial Board member

The Journal of Medical Device Regulation (JMDR) is pleased to welcome Teresa Perry as the newest member of its Editorial Advisory Board.

Building on 25 years of quality, regulatory and operational experience in the field of medical devices, Teresa now works for the newly formed LNE-GMED UK entity of the well known French Notified Body. Her current remit is to support LNE-GMED UK to achieve and maintain Approved Body status, offering UKCA marking for both medical and non-medical products. Prior to this position, Teresa spent 20 years at BSI in a variety of progressive roles involving auditing, scheme management, certification and latterly operational management. Throughout her career, she has been deeply involved in a number of regulatory challenges such as MDSAP introduction, standards transitions, designation of a new Notified Body, MDR and IVDR implementation, and COVID-19 business continuity planning. Teresa regularly presents at industry conferences, such as RAPS, with a specialism in Quality Management Systems and development of remote auditing.

“We are thrilled to have Teresa on board; I have no doubt she will be a wonderful addition to our team”, says JMDR’s Editorial Director, Victoria Clark. “Her extensive experience and knowledge of the medical device field, and her wide ranging network of contacts, put her in an excellent position to advise on any significant regulatory developments that should be covered by the Journal and to help guide our future direction. We very much look forward to working with her.”
