You will also be able to access your publication(s) by logging in to the My Account section of our website and going to My Purchases.
1g) I am a subscription agent. How do I open an account?
Please email us and we will help you set up a subscription agent account.
2. Subscription Management
2a) How do I login?
Go to the My Account link at the top of the page. You will then be asked to enter your username and password, both of which are case sensitive. Please note: your username may not be the same as your email address – always use the username you were assigned. When you have successfully entered this information you will automatically be taken to the subscribers-only area of our website. From here you can download the latest issue, search our back issues for information, view and amend your subscription details, etc.
2b) I have purchased a multi-user licence. How can my team members get their own login details?
If you have purchased a STANDARD or ENTERPRISE licence, please email us with the names and email addresses of the other users and we will set up access for them. Once set up on our system, each user will receive an email from us informing them of their username and asking them to set a password.
If you have purchased a GLOBAL licence, we will set up a special username and password that can be shared by all eligible team members. This will be separate to your billing account. Please email us to set this up.
2c) How do I view and download the latest issue?
Log in to My Account and then go to JMDR Publications. Here you will find a link to the current issue (as a PDF) plus links to all previous issues of the Journal.
2d) Can I access older issues of the Journal?
Yes! All subscribers are able to access the back issues of the Journal of Medical Device Regulation for the duration of their subscription. Simply log in to My Account and then go to JMDR Publications. Here you will find a link to the current issue (as a PDF) plus links to all previous issues of the Journal.
2e) How do I search for specific information within the Journal?
To save you the time and effort of browsing all our back issues to find the information you need, we offer a search facility. When you are logged in through My Account, you can use the Search Articles facility to find and view articles easily from 2017 to the present day. This facility shows you the article text directly in the search function plus gives you a link to the issue it was published in.
2f) How do I renew my current subscription?
When your subscription is due for renewal, you will be sent reminders by email containing full renewal instructions. However, you can renew at any time online by logging into My Account. Go to My Subscription and click the Renew Now button. You will be able to review and update the billing and primary subscriber information, including adding a PO number if desired, before submitting your renewal. You will be able to choose to pay (i) by bank/wire transfer, (ii) by credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) or (iii) by PayPal/Google Pay/Apple Pay (as available). An invoice will be emailed to you automatically once you have completed the renewal process. If you wish to change the number of users, please contact us.
2g) I need an invoice to process my renewal payment, how do I get one?
That’s easy. If you follow the instructions in FAQ 2e) above to confirm your details, you will be sent an invoice by email so you can process your payment. As always, you will be able to choose to pay by bank/wire transfer, credit/debit card or PayPal/Google Pay/Apple Pay (as available). Once your payment has been received, you will receive another copy of the invoice by email, this time marked as paid.
2h) Will my subscription price increase each year?
Yes, we increase our prices annually, and the prices run from 1 January to 31 December. The price you will pay for your renewal will depend on when you renew, not your renewal date. For example, if your renewal is due on 31 January 2021 but you renew on 15 December 2020, you will pay the 2020 rates. If instead you renew on 15 January 2021, you will pay the 2021 rates. If you have any questions about your renewal rate, please contact us.
