Edward C. Wilson Jr announces retirement and resigns from the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Medical Device Regulation

The Journal of Medical Device Regulation announces that Edward C. Wilson Jr, a founding member of its Editorial Advisory Board, will be stepping down as he enters retirement. After an extraordinary career spanning over 34 years at Hogan Lovells US LLP (formerly Hogan & Hartson), Ted has decided to retire from the practice of law, effective 31 December 2024. He will continue his association with Hogan Lovells as Senior Counsel Emeritus, a testament to his significant contributions to the field.

With this transition, Ted has also made the decision to resign from his advisory role with the Journal of Medical Device Regulation. Ted’s insight, expertise, and dedication have played a crucial role in advancing the Journal’s mission to provide cutting-edge regulatory insights to professionals in the medical device industry.

Victoria Clark, Editor of the Journal of Medical Device Regulation, commented: ‘Ted’s contributions to both the Journal and to the broader medical device regulatory community have been invaluable.
