Juan Olivares Leon joins the Journal of Medical Device Regulation as Editorial Correspondent for South America
The Journal of Medical Device Regulation is delighted to welcome Juan Olivares Leon as its new Editorial Correspondent for South America.
“Juan will be a great asset in terms of sourcing and evaluating information, as well as feeling the pulse of regulatory developments in this region”, says Victoria Clark, Editorial Director. “Juan will be reviewing articles for South America, which have been written in-house, for accuracy or to add extra detail. He will also be supplying additional articles to expand our regulatory coverage of the region”.
Juan is a pharmacist with 14 years of experience in regulatory affairs and quality management. He is an MBA candidate, holds a Diploma in Quality and Regulatory Affairs, and has received international training in quality, ISO 13485 and medical device regulations. He is a speaker on regulatory affairs and quality topics for IVDs and medical devices, an Evaluator of Professional Competencies, President of the Peruvian Scientific Society of Medical Devices, and a Quality & Regulatory Affairs Manager.
